Mitchell Wm. Ostrove of New Rochelle has joined the board of directors of the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center, announced David A. Alpert, board chairman.
Mr. Ostrove is the chairman, CEO and founder of the Ostrove Group, a business insurance and financial planning firm in White Plains, New York. Long active in the Westchester community, he serves on several boards, including Temple Israel of New Rochelle and Hillels of Westchester.
HHREC (www.hhrecny.org) provides educational programming that brings the lessons of the Holocaust to students, teachers and the community in Westchester, Fairfield and Putnam Counties.
