Yoga, Getting Healthy and Meteor Sighting

Here are some of the things you should know for Wednesday, January 15, 2014.

• Work out your winter kinks with Lunchtime Yoga at the New Rochelle Public Library Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. The free 30-minute session of yoga will be led by Nora LeMorin. Traditional and adapted poses are practiced either standing or seated in chairs to balance, stretch and strengthen the body while calming the mind. The library is located at 1 Library Plz. in New Rochelle.

• There will be a free workshop on getting rid of abdominal bloating and holiday fat at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Healthy Fit for Women, 1000 East Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck. For details, click here.

• According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday's weather will start with patchy fog before 7 a.m., then turning mostly cloudy with a high near 47. Overnight it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 36, with a slight chance of showers after midnight.
