Summer Folk Music, Westchester Estates and Sunny Weather

Here are some things you need to know in and around New Rochelle for Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

1. The Emil Paolucci Summer Sounds Concert Series continues at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hudson Park Band Shell with Caroline Doctorow and The Steamrollers, playing folk and roots music.

2. The Hidden Treasure of Westchester is the subject of the free lecture Wednesday by Patrick Raftery, the librarian of the Westchester County Historical Society. He will take you on an armchair tour of fabulous estates with fascinating stories. It begins at 7 p.m. at the Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Rd., Elmsford. More information.

3. You can expect sunny skies Wednesday with a high near 91, according to the National Weather Service. Overnight Wednesday, it will be partly cloudy with some fog. The low will be near 71.
