Recycled Art, Wine Class and Obamacare

Here are some of the things you should know for Wednesday, November 6, 2013

1. Hear a talk about working with recyclable materials from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 6 at Recologie, 49 Lawton Ave., in New Rochelle. The free event features a talk Mary Ann Lomonaco. The materials include plastic bags, roof lashing and household mops. 

2. Want to learn how to taste wine? AOC Fine Wines, 168 Huguenot St. in New Rochelle is having a Wine Class  at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 6. You will educate your palate and expose it to aromas and flavors of different wines. Wine Club members can attend the class for free. Otherwise, admission is $50, but you get two or three bottles of AOC's Wine of the Month. Call 914-355-2690.

3. The warming trend continues Wednesday with partly sunny skies and a high near 61, according to the National Weather Service. Overnight, it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 53. There will be a 30 percent chance of showers after 4 a.m.
