Candidates Forum, Transportation and Whole Foods

Here are some of the things you should know for Tuesday, October 22, 2013.

1. League of Women Voters of Westchester and Pace University will present a Forum for Candidates for County Office Wednesday, October 23 at Pace University Graduate Center, Room 206 (Graduate Auditorium), 1 Martine Avenue, White Plains. The free event begins at 5:30 p.m. For the schedule and other information, go here.

2. Improving travel circulation throughout downtown New Rochelle is the subject of a workshop to be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday October 22 at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plz., New Rochelle. There will be an optional walking tour of the area before everyone gathers at the library to brainstorm. For more information, click here.

3. Tuesday's weather starts out partly sunny, with a high near 68, but the overnight forecast, according to the National Weather Service, calls for mostly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance of rain after 3 a.m. The low will be around 46.
