Bowling in the New Year and Chance of Snow
Here are some of the things you should know for New Year's Eve.
• Ring in the New Year in a different way by bowling the night away from 10:15 p.m. Tuesday to 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at Funfuzion in New Roc City in New Rochelle. It's their fourth annual New Year's Roc n' Bowl Eve. For $29.99 per person you will get three hours of unlimited bowling with complimentary champagne at midnight! There will also be games, music and party favors. Shoes are included. Funfuzion is located at 33 Le Count Pl. in downtown New Rochelle.
• Both branches of the New Rochelle Public Library will close at 1 p.m. Tuesday for the New Years holiday.
• The weather forecast Tuesday calls for a 20 percent chance of snow after 10 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 35, according to the National Weather Service. Overnight, while you are partying, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 24.
