Dobbs Ferry: Garden Club Plant Sale

Place: Waterfront Park, 1 High St, Dobbs Ferry, NY

Description: Choose from an array of perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables for sale. The event also includes demonstrations on container planting, annual garden designs and perennial companion mixes. The Club's designers, horticulturists, and environmentalists and CCE Master Gardeners of Westchester will also be available to assist.

Harrison: Art Tour and Workshop at Family First Saturdays

New RochelleCNR 41st Annual Strawberry Festival

Place: The College of New Rochelle, 29 Castle Pl, New Rochelle.

When: Sunday, May 5, 2013, Noon to 5 p.m.

Description: The College of New Rochelle’s (CNR) 41st annual Strawberry Festival has something special for family members of all ages. On Sunday, May 5, from 12 noon to 5 pm on Maura Lawn on CNR’s Main Campus at 29 Castle Place in New Rochelle, the College will host a fun-filled day of outdoor activities, music, entertainment, and strawberry treats. Admission is free; there is a charge for food, games and rides. Grab your family, a blanket and prepare for a great day! The rain location is The Wellness Center.
